:shudder: People seem to forget that tattooing is basically not-quite open wound scarification. Also, need to hit people who think that tattoo parlours are weird and dingy and dirty and that tattooists are scary.

Once saw a Batman comic where Bats ripped out a punk's nose piercing with a quick jerk in the name of interrogation. Clearly writer *and* artist had never seen what happens when you rip a piercing out.
