burntcopperCertain people have *clearly* not been making the correct sacrifices to the weather gods. Forecast on main bbc weather bit for tuesday is rain. On the other hand, the met office report lists tuesday 6pm - night as cloudy with occasional sunny intervals and only the 3-6pm period as rainy. :drums fingers: which to believe....
Also, summer is clearly off on holiday elsewhere from the weekend and today. Went out for a walk along the river and lock for some fresh air and it mostly varied between grey, spitting and persistent drizzle. However, I did get a few of the first blackberries from the hedges, so it wasn't all bad. And remembered why it is you have to pick the one with tiny berry bits as the bigger ones are fairly tasteless.
But anyway; back at casa parentis. And slightly odded out about how claustrophobic a place that is bigger than the flat can be. Plus had completely forgotten how annoying Radio 4 can be. (it's a speech vs. music thing - recorded speech that I'm not actively listening to grates more than bad music)
