TV

watched Supernatural first ep, also known as 'squee! BOYS! BOBBY!'

re-watched the first two eps of Chuck. It does not get any less awesome on re-watching.

Watched first ep of Reaper and am going 'errrr.... not entirely sure.' It's just lacking the sheer awesome that is Chuck and SPN and SGA.

Still to watch SGA ep 2, Chuck ep 3, Robin Hood ep 1 (yes, i know, I'm the bloody mod for [livejournal.com profile] robinhoodbbc) or any of the last three eps of Holby City. It's Peter Wingfield. DON'T JUDGE ME.

Debating whether to d/l more Reaper. And what were people's opinions on Sarah Connor? Is that worth it? I only saw a couple of minutes at the weekend when it was up on screen whilst running around like a blue-arsed fly in the name of stewarding. Pushing Daisies? Bionic Woman?

Also found a torrent for the car-crash with added elephants film that we do not speak of. Does one d/l in the name of masochism? This is a film that got labelled by one review as 'PG for literary desecration'.

Pushing Daisies gets a big YES from me... it's my favourite out of the new shows (and not just because Anna Friel is my new TV Girlfriend, ahem! *blush*) Written by Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Heroes) and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (The Addams Family, Men in Black, er, Wild Wild West) and it has a great visual look, cute characters, and snappy dialogue. Think Tim Burton directing Amelie crossed with Dead Like Me ;)

I would recommend checking out the pilots for Bionic Woman, and The Sarah Connors Chronicles just to see if you like them. They both have things going for them: Katee Sackhoff has a cool recurring role in Bionic Woman, and Summer Glau has a great kickass character in Sarah Connors!

hmm. shall watch Pushing Daisies tomorrow, then. I'm just vaguely nervous trying to figure out which of the really cool new shows is going to break my heart by getting cancelled.

Robin Hood ep 1 (yes, i know, I'm the bloody mod for [livejournal.com profile] robinhoodbbc)

No sympathy, dude. I'm sniggering too hard to be capable of sympathy 'cause your dysfunction makes my rapid resolve crumble to the Allan side of The Force pale into insignificance. ^_^

:mutter: I only set up the damn thing so I could keep control over the stupid. And I really shouldn't do the dance of :snicker: over the fact that [livejournal.com profile] bbc_robinhood admitted defeat sometime over the summer and purged themselves for reasons unknown. Either apathy, lack of posting, or just admitting defeat over the fact that they'll never be as nutty as the treeporn lot.
