Did you read the AfterElton review for Fragments? The reviewer completely missed the point of the Ianto/Jack story (although having read the Torchwood mags it's clear all the nuance in that story came from Gareth not Chibnall) and he didn't comprehend that Owen in saying "snap" was saying "the same" rather than using it in a pop culture sassy way.
Some of the reviews are fun but yes two countries separated by very different langauges!
