:pokes stomach podge:

:sigh: you're not going to shift by the con, are you? this is what happens when your lunch is a steady diet of scotch eggs and bagels over winter, and you've spent the last few weeks eating pre-bought sandwiches, pasta and pizza. Dammit. oh well, scales've said I've finally shifted a couple of pounds, but suspect this is water loss rather than real.

Also after comparing with someone's little brother, it turns out I have *no* triceps. Tricep dips, hear I come. should do something for my screwed up shoulder muscle and provide a bit of back muscle too, hopefully.

Womb. DO NOT WANT. (more discomfort than shrieking pain so far, though)

um. Kings. how many more eps do we have left? They did say they were showing the whole season, right? American public, you have no fucking taste.

:::HUGS:::

If the womb is really being such a drain...have you considered hysterectomy? I know it's pretty final and all, but...

Ah, I just got into 'Kings'. They seem to be showing it on Saturday nights now; the next episode airs on the 18th, I think. Whenever there's an open slot in the schedule to fill ;p I am quite embarrassed by American television tastes, yes, but I feel a little bit better when I watch 'Breaking Bad', a little bit worse when I'm expected to swallow 'Heroes'.

Eight remaining episodes, I think -- they switched to a Saturday night spot, which is probably a sign of ONCOMING DEATH THANKS NBC. *cough* (That, and the fact that not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of my other shows are probably going to be cancelled. FAIL FOX NBC CBS. Okay, I'm good now.)

Dips are good, but also try kick backs with dumbells - squeeze the movement at the end and you really feel it. Also pull downs if you're at the gym.

Also 'Hmmm hotpants' ;)

it's a con. If I'm not wearing a ridiculously short skirt or hotpants, there is something *wrong*.

I have allergies to gyms and i can never remember to acquire/use anything that looks faintly like an extra piece of equipment when exercising. There's a reason my sports over the years have been swimming, cycling, boxing and jogging.

nah, it's more discomfort and occasional pain recently, manageable with heat pad - the evening primrose tablets have brought it down a *lot*.

Dips with a chair then? Or finally get your ass over to my place - I like equipment and have a great chin/dip frame you can use. Hotpants optional ;)

Boxing's great for tri's aswell if that appeals more.
