The terrible thing: I've spent a certain portion of the intervening time thinking up other weird biscuit combinations; the most promising one so far sounds like pink wafer biscuits and horseradish. I have a few days off-shift from tomorrow; I may abuse my tastebuds in new and horrific ways.
(Hm. Which flavour of Angel Delight would best go as a dip with Twiglets?)
That said, Marmite, India Pale Ale and Jaffa Cakes do have a slightly unusual combined effect; I was getting a distinctly strange aftertaste and the smell of Marmite for the entire night shift.
