"More Cowbell" caused hysteria the night I was in.
I got lucky with the seating -bought cheap tickets at about 5 hours before doors open and due to *slight* underbooking got bumped to row C in the stalls. Seemed that the people buying on the door were getting the bad seats (My tickets were printed for Row R).
What you may have missed was the theatre staff at front of house boogieing to the infill music before and during the intermission, but the guy in the circle was giving it *huge* licks - high kicking full on Travolta boogie. And these were the people trying to sell the drinks :-)
Agreed with the cast having far too much fun, but I don't think I've spent an entire night grinning ear to ear in a very long time before watching this.
