Have been listening to that song plenty recently - the Radio 1 guys adore it.
Erk. Brazil beat Belgium, which is kinda scary - I mean, it'll be a great game, but Belgium might have been a tad less nerve-wracking...
Saturday was obviously scary but wondrous - course, we had to get the first load of really good weather when absolutely everyone was either in a pub or fixated on the screen at home.
Straight after, did the great window-shop with Steph, then unanimous decision was made that we needed drinks. At least one. Popped into Santa Fe, which neither of us had never been in before. Looked at the drinks menu and blinked. Eight types of Margarita and 12 types of Tequila - six for 'shots' and six for 'sipping'. Both of us went "Sip Tequila? You can do that? Ewww." Still, very nice margaritas. Then food needed. Santa Fe is just a bar, so they'd stopped serving food, we did the great Riverside Roundup. "Well, there's Pizza Express... or Old Orleans. Pizza Hut, Nando's... or Old Orleans. Yellow River cafe... or Old Orleans." Amazingly, we ended up in Old Orleans - good food, many, many cocktails. £4 drinks and me and Steph seem to be an automatic combination.
Result of the window shopping : make-up. One of those days when you couldn't find anything whatsoever.
