Seriously. The only branch we can trace that weren't either of those were a bunch of french glassmakers a few centuries ago. Such quizzes become embarrassing when you're disgustingly native. First to move here - that would be the lot who moved in a couple of thousand years ago in this big wave of immigration across europe, the British Isles being pretty much the furthest place you could get in those days.
