Saw The Importance of Being Ernest at cinema. Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, Reece Witherspoon (who's just beaten Gwyneth Paltrow for the title of best English accent by an American actress - you don't even notice it), Judi Dench, Frances O'Connor - all absolutely fabulous.
Great costumes, great performances, and here's a judge of the rest of it - the audience couldn't stop giggling or outright laughing. Shows Oscar Wilde, when done well, is fucking fantastic and can beat all the dick and fart jokes you can shake a stick at.
Special mention to the piano and banjo song performed by Colin Firth and Rupert Everett. :snerk:
