Bill's gay kiss scene cleared.
Heh. 160 complaints shoved out the window about it being before the watershed. My fave protest? 'It starts at 8:00! Kiddies could still be watching!' :cough: dunno about you, but when I was a child, my parents had no problem with what time I was watching or what I was watching - dinner was at 8 or 9 usually, and my parents made a point of me watching Blackadder, Yes Minister, Tutti Frutti, French and Saunders, etc. If it was good, and funny, it was almost compulsory viewing.
Best bit from the watchdog? 'the programme code did not distinguish between the sexual orientation of characters, but required that any sexual behaviour be appropriately limited and inexplicit before 2100. It said the kiss was not totally unexpected and it considered the scene acceptable. '
I'm off to do more happy dances. Not to mention that we've been promised bed scenes sometime near christmas. Ah, confused, confused little Luke Ashton... :rubs hands together in glee:
