I've just had a call from the bloke who asked for my number a couple of days ago - have agreed to go cinema with him tomorrow - and that's persistent. I didn't answer his text from the other day. Am now considering banging my head off the desk because of certain factors. One, he's a townie, and not just any townie, one who wears sports gear as day wear. I have deep-seated Kappa slapper prejudices. The other... I have seriously low self-esteem when it comes to blokes and dating. I've never been on a date before. My usual recourse to blokes is to pick them up when on dancefloor and I don't have to talk to them, just snog and grope. My longest relationship ever has been 8 hours, and that was because we fell asleep after sex. Normally it's wham, bam, thank you ma'am. Plus, talking. Help. I have no problems talking usually, and I'm considered a complete flirt (I don't mean to, it just happens even when I'm not interested) but... date! Aaaargh!

Dating is good, lovely girl. Just relax and be your usual sparkly self and all will be fine. Of course, if he turns out to be a twat... smile nicely and walk away!

See you next week!

*huggles* You'll be fine... you'll see a film, for free with a bit of luck *g*, and like Jaq says, if he's a twat, walk away.

But you aren't just going cos he's persistent, are you? There are some other qualities? But anyway, at the worst, you could look on it as a practice for dating someone better at some point. Which you will do, I have no doubt :-)
