burntcopperRight, now that the whole Evil Little Fucking challenge is over - I'm never going to think of Gisburne in the same way again, I tell you.... I have decided to filch a meme. Which should've been posted on the 31st, but what the fuck.
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
A hell of a lot less, but I have an excuse. Nanowrimo and website mania. ...christ. Only 9 shorts, but according to the log, didn't write anything for six months.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2002?
Faculty. Oh, and poking Meg to write Lotrips and popslash. Mind you, don't think I would've written Wes/Faith before either.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Probably either To See Another Sunrise or Black as a Lifestyle Choice. Those had a lot of effort put into them,
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
I wrote smut. And my god, the first piece? I can so see the zombie hand of Rob Lowe in it. Am puzzled why I keep getting 'my god, that was hot' feedback, though. Oh, and when in doubt, beta the fuck out of any story you have before posting. Plus have learned just how difficult it is to keep something going for a whole novel's worth, let alone a novella.

Write more smut, and be more prolific. Also get off my arse and finish or at least type up the mountain of short fic pieces I have hanging around.
