burntcopperSeriously. Apparently shoe repair places do not do stitching. heel, buckles, no problem. Stitching = no.
Sandal strap broke due to the stitching going kablooey. (soles also coming apart) Went down Grays Inn road and tried 3 shoe places. All of which said no. At least the last place told me re : the soles that I might as well do it myself with rubber glue.
Eventually found a bag shop that'd do it for a tenner. but I won't get them back til Friday.
I'm bloody sure the place in oxford circus tube did when they repaired the strap on my wedges.
