jennyo reckons it's going to be nasty, brutal and short. Yep. Considering the last Gulf war lasted about... three or so days (the rest was media stuff and attempts at clean-up), this is going to be even shorter. Especially if you've got soldiers trying to give themselves up before it starts. Then we just have to wait another decade for Bush's daughters to find another war.

And I'm just wondering if Bush would want this war so bad if there was even a possibility that it was going to last as long as your average war, or peacekeeping job, like in Kosovo. Because peacekeeping isn't sexy and gung-ho, and neither is the kind of war that goes on for years. No-one in the UK really regards war as sexy and cool beyond the age of ten, because our forces are mostly involved in the unsexy busines that is clean-up and peacekeeping.
