Small comment about the weekend

Meg's already said about this, but I had the scary moment of someone talking about my fic/fannish presence... and it was trianne. Convo somehow veered to Faculty fic, and she started describing her fave one, where Casey was all giggly and drugged. I'd nodded along with 'drugged', but when I heard giggly, the alarm bells started and I went 'errr..... who was the author?' Then proceeded to bury my head in my hands. Yes, mine it was. Am never going to be not freaked out by being recognised in real life.

I totally apologise for freaking you out like that, but you have to admit that was a surreal moment. I have that fic in front of me now, printed out 14 April 2002. And it's still as wonderful as the first time I read it. Okay, will stop stalking you now and return to writing smut. :)

I get scared when strangers know me too. I've had it happen a couple of times at conventions and such like when people do the "Oh *YOU'RE* Lioness!" Freaky! And it's not as though I do anything that would get me recognised, unlike you who writes fabulous fic.
