Gah. Freezing today after being baking yesterday. Hell, I *basked* yesterday. Bra and unfeasibly short shorts. Today? Hoodie, coat and gloves.

Went into town for Post Office mailing of stuff - two sets of comics, one load of oil company info to Spain. Found jeans in my size at Gap, (artisitically worn, but still better than anything else in town), got various foodstuffs and then went to see Phone Booth with Colin Farrell in it. Damn good film. Claustrophobic, doesn't move outside the ten-fifteen yard area around the phone booth, with camera angles shot from perspective of the person in there and the sniper plus a load of split screen. Niiiice camera work. Good script, good tension, good performances, believable, and good performances from the cops - especially arguments and handling of the situation. Special bonus points for the hookers who wanted to use the phone, and the close-ups of the sweat on Colin Farrell's face. You look at this and wonder what the hell Joel Schumacher was smoking during the nineties when he made all that shite like the Batman films. Because this is good. Damn good. And Kiefer Sutherland once again shows he does menace very well just with his voice. And no, this is not a spoiler. Audiences know the guy's voice so well they could tell from the first instant. Oh, and we also got the Matrix trailer. Oooo, I say, ooooo.

Kiefer: I knew I recognized his voice when I heard him, and I spent the entire movie trying to work it out so I was very pleased when the reveal was made. Are you sure you don't want to treat it like a spoiler?
