burntcopperTremors is amusing. Have also shaved a couple of people off friends lists as I realise I no longer read their journals, just skip 'em - no offense to whoever I snipped.
Getting pressure from parents to take driving lessons. Like, serious pressure. I'm fairly happy pootling along as a pedestrian, considering car insurance/petrol/price of car, but they're acting like it's life or death. And saying 'oh, but what about that job you might get that requires you to drive to it?' I just stare at them and realise there's no way thay can understand that I refuse to go for any job (even if I had my license) that requires me to get to somewhere that's so far out of the loop that you can't reach it by a combination of public transport and a bike. They're now trying to say I'd be practically a leper in this society without a driving licence. I think they've got a bit... fixated.
