Just read this, spent the last few hours reading it since someone on my friends listed it - It's post- Pitch Black het, slight bit of the mary sue and trauma for trauma's sake about it, but damn absorbing and well-written and plotted. And the author even goes into detail at the end about choices she made in the fic. Reasons. 60 chapters.

Yay! Isn't it fabulous? I stumbled across it on fanfiction.net (of all places!), and just...couldn't stop reading it. It was a WIP at that point, and I was going nuts waiting for the next part.

It amuses me how much the projected plot for 'Riddick' sounds very much like this fic: an of age Jack, a hunted Riddick finding out the truth behind his origins (because, let's face it, a human standing off against one of those things with his bare hands?). Plus, the fact that they have Alexa playing future-Jack means that smooching will abound. Mmm.
