Mother's Ruin Pour Moi

Walking from Grays Inn to Hyde Park Corner is just about doable, but I may considering grabbing the 38 once I pass chinatown next time (before that is laughable). But if I walk it, I'm going to walk at least a bunch of Park lane/Piccadilly in Green Park rather'n the road. mind you, if you've never walked it, you don't really realise just how much is on Piccadilly 'oh. Huh. Fortnum & Mason. The Ritz. Royal Academy.'
Good sights had to be one rather nice looking bloke in what was obviously an expensive suit, sitting on the steps of the Ritz with two shoeboxes, changing his shoes whilst on the phone. Because sometimes your current shoes just aren't enough. I really wish I'd got a picture of that.
Royal Aeronautical Society is rather impressive on the inside, and damn that's a nice veranda. Me, Jen, Jane and Megs being forced to sit there and drink Tanqueray-based cocktails and really gorgeous gin-laced canapes that melted in your mouth - from duck pancakes brownies to smoked salmon and beef tartare and mushroom soup. Mmmm. Have new 'oooooo' in cocktails - White Lady (triple sec or cointreau, gin, cream optional, lemon juice and egg white). with this in mind, now must try a Pink Lady (same, but with grenadine rather'n triple sec) Very entertained by the soundtrack - it was all mid-nineties, which had us giggling 'oh dear god, am teenager again!' when Sneaker Pimps and Jamiroquai came on. Possibly the only problem was that canapes don't fill you up, so had to get sausage roll on way home.
