Early, this morning, it snowed, and the snow was lying on the ground. I thought 'Eeeee!', and reckoned It wasn't heavy enough to stop me going jobgging. Just make sure the hood was tied up on my hoodie sweater. Half-melted snow's not too bad to jog on, either. However, at the end of my first lap of the park, I stopped. I have no problem jogging in the rain. Stops you overheating. However, I have objections to running when the snow is coming down in tiny pellets and you can't see. Even when I was walking the five minutes back, I had to hold a hand in front of my face to be able to see where I was going. Plus was practically white when I got in the door - considering my jogging bottoms are navy and the hoodie is black...

I think it went well-ish, only, on getting all the extra details at the interview? So don't want this job. Most bloody inflexible hours ever seen - and have too much stuff going on at weekends currently. They're upheaving soon, which normally means even less flexibility. And pay. £4.20/h. £4.69, my last job, was skimming it. Plus ever get that slightly-not-great feeling about the job at the interview? Where you can't put your finger on it but something just doesn't sound too great...

Also, is freezing and blowing a gale outside, intermittent flurries of snow. Nice to look at and nice to go out in for a bit, mind you.... Oh, and guess which idiot forgot her gloves this morning?

Katie comes tomorrow. :bounce:

yes, the very important world of Heather's costuming woes returns. I know you're all enthralled. I've got to figure out how to put together a Twenties dress... and I think sewing's going to be involved :whimper: Even if I do chicken out and just assemble a Chicago barely-there one, I still have to find the bloody shoes. Gotham it'll be probably Poison Ivy. Green tights, green leaves... and need to find either a leotard or a swimming costume I can make strapless and cover with leaves. Really, really having problems scouring charity shops here.

The main problem I have is the Sci-Fi night. Am having serious problems. Anyone? Suggestions? Please? (and no, no bloody fantasy ones. Sci-Fi.) Anyone who suggests Barbarella will get their arses handed to them. Why, why, why are there very few decent Sci-Fi females out there?

I'm inclined to sulk and watch Crossroads. and I don't think one of Spider Jerusalem's Filthy Assistants really counts as a costume.
