London Eye v. cool. Spent it going 'oooooo, landmarks! buildings!'. Then coffee, then tapas bar. Mmmm. Developed sensitive front tooth for two hours - most annoying when you've got drinks with ice in 'em. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was fun on a kiddie level, the performers were good, and the main kids pretty good (ie you didn't want to strangle them, unlike the Vulgarian kids who I wanted to take an uzi to). First act better than second. Car coooooooooooooooooooool. Damn cool. And we got sparkles coming out of the ceiling at the end. Yay! Most odd seeing a film staged, though. Different when it's originally theatre/musical adapted for film, like Chicago or Cabaret. Knowing all the songs and exactly what will happen. And though I haven't seen CCBB for years, I found to my horror that I can sing every song word perfect.

Fucking freezing this morning. Suspect more calories burnt by body shivering in an attempt to keep self warm than actual running. Legs were the attractive shade of red and white that's a symptom of being bloody freezing. Plus bugger all sunshine for the whole route.

Going into town in a bit after the washing's done to get cloth and track down swimsuits and boots. Possibly see film.

I still can't believe I'm taking this so fecking seriously. School Disco, no problem - old gym skirt, white shirt, old school tie, shoes. Prom - sod the prom dress idea, I'm going as Liza Minelli in Cabaret. Full outfit, no problem, already have. This Marvel Comics thing we're doing? I'm foolishly almost completely set on Psylocke. Even bought flat boots today. And trying to figure out what the bloody pattern for the body-thing is, as of course Jim Lee when he designed it did one of his simplest costumes to draw (and disturbingly practical), it's just bloody impossible to make from a swimsuit or leotard (though I have no idea where you can get leotards in Reading) as it has a high neck. So now I'm looking for patterns or some such - and for those who read X-Men, is Psylocke's ninja cossie blue or black? Sometimes it looks blue, sometimes black, and you can't tell because of the fecking inkers.
