It's pissing it down, and of course the mammoth wash is taking place today - all the sheets from Falmouth, plus mine from here, and my laundry. So no fresh-on the line effect. Sulk.

Sitting here in admiration of an author. Smallville, quite good, Clark gets jealous of Lex's new boyfriend who seems to be perfect for Lex and terribly normal, and ponders how they grew apart and realises his own feelings. And it was only when I scrolled back up to the top that I realised it was a Highlander crossover. Because, well, there was no immortal explanatory guff. Or chopping of heads off. Just Clark's notes on the seemingly perfect boyfriend - English, named Adam, sprawls like it's an art form, drinks beer, big on ancient history (with added insights into history and contacts in antiques world), good at fencing, good at observation. All of these presented as Clark's despair about this guy being the seemingly perfect boyfriend for Lex, all the things that he's not good at, like it was 'Likes organic chemistry. Dark hair. Addiction to bubblegum.' Suffice to say I'm impressed with her subtlety.

Ah, Trash, one of the new eps. This post will mostly be incoherent squee-age.

First we got Saffron, the ex-Mrs. Reynolds, last seen trying to steal the ship, making her appearance, and she has been pronounced Too Cool For School. Oh, and classy gutter fighter, too.

Mal and Inara once again prove that old adage about 'whore' and 'petty thief' being really a way to say 'I love you and fancy the pants off you'.
