Well, bugger all really happened today, aside from laundry. And reading Outsiders back issues and going 'squee!' (bittorrent is my lord and master). Dear god, there really is no subtext when it comes to Grace and Anissa. It's alllllll text. Big text. Not, you, understand, quite at the neon stage of Robin and Superboy, but pretty impressive.
Dress #1 has had the collar sewn on and the zip put in, with the first bloody unpicking I've had to do on this dress. :growl: Put zip in according to instructions, makes it very difficult to put dress on. (breathe in, squirm, remove rib) Move zip down two inches, it becomes easier. Also I apparently have slightly larger tits than they expect you to have for this dress. Oh well... To do on this one : sleeves, hems, tidy up collar into a decent mandarin-style, figure out belt.
Dress #2. Starting the fucker would be good. Fortunately, it looks a lot simpler than the other - and for a start, not as much material. Also, need eyepatch.
Otherwise, was sulking about weather. This morning it's hot enough for me to get up, go post office, develop heat bumps (don't ask, it's not pretty) on the way back, and roll my vest top up to a crop top because I'm that boiling. Several whistles from van drivers due to this and the miniskirt.
Come 2-ish, it clouds over and turns cool, temperature dropping v. quickly until it's bloody cold once the sun goes down. With added rain around 6:30. Apparently this is *only* happening along the M4 corridor. Everywhere else in southern England is still sunny and warm.
