My plans for the week are basically sleep, bath, theatre and dinner 6th and 7th, give blood on the 4th, and sit-ups, slowly segueing into finding about belly dancing, tango and charleston - at least the basic steps for the latter - and yoga and deciding what language I want to learn.
Today was slow and sleepy and everyone moved like zombies. And did the damn 'lying down on the floor' bit from Cha-Cha Slide on the shopfloor. As well as the 'yelling directions across the gallery to co-worker because you have no shame left'. 'In the corner! Other corner! Turn round! At the bottom!'. Had chat with Martin. For those who have not heard about Martin, Martin used to be one of my best mates at school. Primary school. 5-10, before I left for Abbey. We haven't spoken for 15 years but immediately went 'Heather? Martin?' on seeing each other on first day at Waterstones. I still remember his fucking birthday. He's sickeningly cute (though doesn't photograph that well), and I've been harbouring a massive crush on him since day one. Though trying to hide it. Although Alex, former co-worker at Jessops rounded on me as soon as Martin left the staff room and went 'Heather, you little tramp'. Though was having a talk about him with one of the girls today - to whit, Martin is just too *nice*. And sweet. And pleasant and good and appears to have no vices. Touching would be wrong, and not in a 'want to dirty him up' way. You just don't know what the hell you'd do with him. So yes, trying not to make the crush too obvious. Though chances of seeing him again are practically zero.
Trying to read Master and Commander, though keep being stopped by inconvenient things like bus journeys stopping and having to go back onto the shop floor. Need to finish it soon, because I need to see if I like it enough to take advantage of the 3 for 2 on Patrick O'Brien at Waterstones.
