Made a guide for the Dark is Rising Sequence for newbies since I have that domain sitting there doing bugger all aside from hosting other sites. For they will need EDUCATING in the correct knowledge.

It's as simple and clean as I can make it, so far just has a book and character and links guide up. (aiming to use this more as a portal/primer - if you want in-depth, you go to the other links/sites) I'll expand bits as time goes on.
Also looking for people to test it on macs and linux.
