100 words behind on nano. I believe the correct phrase is 'phew'. To write : spies bitching about swish bastard Harkness, and, er, the entirety of teh Methos/Jack on an adventure to retrieve the glove bit, which was the original plot of this sodding nano. (I still don't understand how I managed to write 20k of 1920s-30s Torchwood). Indiana Jones section finito. The Special Journalistic Purposes scene can get posted once I've written the spies bitching scene that goes before it. Jenny seeing him off at the airport (directly after Special Journalisitic Purposes, takes place two or so days after) has been written. All reports of bacon sandwiches featuring in this scene are LIES. Damn Lies. They may, er, be statistics, though. Going to figure out plot and see how much flashbacks can be written - might write the end and the majority of the actual adventure out as bare bones and then bolster added bits with musings and flashbacks just so I've technically got the story finished by the end of nano, posting chunks as I go, as I've been doing with the Indy section, where I didn't post owt until I'd properly finished them.

and at the end of this week, I'll actually shut up about nano and go back to doing normal posts. Like squeeing about tv shows because I'll actually have time to watch them.

Thinking of that, post pubmeet (which normally contains a fair bit of industry gossip) I'm pretty bloody nervous about the fate of Chuck. Apparently the ratings aren't high enough to give it an automatic pass if the writers' strike isn't resolved quickly. Pushing Daisies is apparently fine, for those who watch it. Bionic Woman's just too bloody expensive to keep going beyond a season, but they'll probably keep it up to at least 13 eps for the dvd sales factor. Journeyman? Would have been cancelled anyway. The problem is that the studios will only really start gibbering when the *film* scripts dry up, which won't be for a few months yet. :is scared:

Reports on the rehearsals of CiN indicate that mr. Barrowman is apparently turning into a bit of a diva. ...dammit.

need to do hotel checking for Brum panto. [livejournal.com profile] snowballjane, was it you who was the sixth ticket or 'm I thinking of someone else?
