:blinkblink: Why did no-one tell me Tamsin Grieg was Debbie Aldridge in The Archers? I only found out today by glancing over someone's shoulder at an interview with her in The Times today on the tube. I blinked a lot at mum (the dyed in the wool Archers addict of the family, which means the voices of the characters are etched on my hindbrain), who said 'Yes, didn't you know?'. Blinked some more. Then she's listening to it on Listen Again and... augh, how did I not connect the voices? Admittedly her voice is a lot more modulated and calm on the radio - Tamsin on tv does play a lot of slightly hysterical, drunk or shallow comedy characters with a lot of her acting being physical and facial expressions, so her voice is a lot sharper. :scratches head: Mebbe it's because I knew the voice as Debbie first, and came across her on tv some years later...
