freezy pain thingy
Nov. 26th, 2010 09:21 amNo, not snow. didn't get any of that in Berkshire yet.
Have skin-tag thing on back of head. is about the size of a Minstrel. Doc confirmed it as a 'warty thing' and not a mole or other tumour-like thingy and told me to book self into minor surgery clinic to get it removed. So went in yesterday, Dr Keast looked, then said 'hold still' and produced the liquid nitrogen cannister. Oh my Flying Spaghetti Monster I'd forgotten how much that *hurts*. (used to get feet done as a teen when I had verrucas) Seriously, sore side of head for a good half hour after. But yeah, 30 secs - dad had given me a lift, hadn't even finished the page he was on before I was out again. Should blister, bleed and scab. If it doesn't fall off by itself, come back in two weeks and he'll cut it off. Which is not as much fun for him. Yes, my doc will go 'No pain, no gain.' 'You have no idea how much fun playing with this thing is.' 'Me? Like causing pain? Never. Hold still, I'm experimenting. This is for medical progress.'
Also will be on the dry spray shampoo stuff for the next few days as can't get it wet. Anyone know how well this stuff works?
In other news, kept being distracted whilst trying to get on with final chapter so going 'argh, I'd like to actually finish nano!'. Stumbled to the point where the tango thing is mooted as a distraction and stopped.
