Am boiled to within an inch of life, and's that's just from walking out of the cinema to the bus stop and riding home.
On the bus was a family with *10* kids. That's right, you heard me. Ages 13 - 15 months, 2 sets of twins. Admittedly well-behaved kids, but I think the parents must be masochistic.
Seen Terminator 3. Pretty good, liked it a lot better than T2 as there was no bloody stupid Edward Furlong who irritates me immensely, especially when trying to make the machine speak cool. Nick Stahl did a good job as the slightly strung out, ultra-paranoid John Connor, Claire Danes was good as his future wife - admittedly she did scream a lot at the beginning, but it is to be expected. Not so much of a turn around of Character as Sarah Connor as she was shown as being very practical and cool-headed in normal life. Arnie great. Very cool. And the T-X... :whimper:. Very, very impressive. As was the ending, which made a lot of sense. But oooo, action sequences... Let's see how much we can destroy, shall we? :g:
Bugger. Just realised forgot to get Grandma Wallace her birthday pressie. Shall have to go in tomorrow or friday...

Date: 2003-08-06 11:54 am (UTC)My feelings about T3 have mellowed a bit in the last few days. I guess I'm just not used to twist endings over a time frame of 19 years (man, I feel old and depressed) as opposed to 90 minutes!

Date: 2003-08-07 05:56 am (UTC)Well, at least said ending made a lot more sense than 'we only have ten seconds to save the earth, Flash' actually succeeding. Plus, how happy was I that they kind of liked each other by the end, so you could see there would be relationship in future? Yay to the scriptwriters who understand that people don't fall in love within one day of meeting each other!
