I think I have ringworm on my legs. (it's fungus, people, same thing as athlete's foot) Thought it was just shaving rash last week, but it's intensely itchy, and the little dry red spots (gone down in number, thank god) have spread into that little ring-shape. I'm going to kill dad, because he had it a couple of weeks ago, and our legs certainly touched when sitting on the sofa watching tv. And when it flares up? So. Fucking. Itchy. here's hoping he still has some of that fungal cream left that he got from Boots. Though the classic had to be when he actually asked for it :
Dad : I think I've got ringworm. :shows chemist leg:
Chemist (big black west indian bloke) : Ah, yes. But fungus. We say fungus now.
Dad : They don't like the word ringworm, huh?
Chemist, making shushing sounds : Fungus.
Encouraging Meg in writing Books of magic/HP crossover. Have determined that since Harry is 23 this year, Tim is around 25 if you go by him being 12 in 1990, when the BoM miniseries came out. Of course, comics-wise he's more like 18, but you can't have everything. :g: John Constantine has managed to weasel his way in, and I'm being used as Constantine beta.
Gradually writing my Wolfram and Hart turned Gunn into a Sentinel fic (like no-one else had that thought when the big black kitty turned up in the white room). Have come to the realisation that there's really no-one but Wes who can be Gunn's guide. Not sure how Wes will take this. Also, lots of glaring between Gunn and Jim, as Gunn really doesn't like cops and blew up a tad when Wes mentioned that Blair and Jim are cops. The... er... the plot is a tad problematic. Because after Blair and Jim show up, and lots of discussion and snarking happens, I'm really not sure what to do with it. Ideas? Anyone?
