My TTT dvd has arrived. My preciouss.........
Wedding was immense fun. But bloody tiring, and I'd forgotten how tiring 7-hour train trips are (yes, we had the long way round, how did you guess?). Niiiice guest house. Also a fantastic restaurant the night before, where me, the bride and the bridesmaids went into complete food geekery at one point. I recommend Mclaughlins (I think that's the name) at 34 West Preston street in Edinburgh to anyone. Kill for their vegetarian and their fish. Cheap, too...
Jenna looked gorgeous in dark red, plus bridesmaids in silver-white chinese dresses, chapel at v. pretty Scottish castle (with falconry! squee!) also rather gorgeous, flowers in colours to match, as well as half the female guests and me turning up in dark red bits to match as well :g:. Day was so damn tiring, as I was documenting from 11am at the castle to 10pm at night - starting with Jenna's hair, the makeover of the chapel, the castle, right through to first dance, the party, and the castle at night (special request by Jenna and parents) and Adrian indulging in cigars and whisky with his best mates. Remembered why I loved taking photos so much - stick camera in my hands, give me an interesting subject, like people getting ready, transformation and interesting landscapes, and that film is solid gone. Still only used 10, though, so I'm impressed with myself. Fingers crossed that they come out well.
Legs completely stiff from the night shoot and the train back yesterday. Nanowrimo's at 28, 842 words, now I've just got to keep it up at 3,000 a day. Now buggering off to Nottingham for gran's funeral...
