Or rather, doing bits, figuring out bits, painting parts of someone else's costume for an SG con next weekend, laughing as Alex had pins stuck into him for his jacket fitting, and put his Cyclops costume on for piccies (anyone who's seen the outtakes from X-Men will understand the problems with the X-Men costumes, especially the one where they hop over the wall), then practicing a dance routine with Tors for Fusion, going round Croydon on a sunday lunchtime with Andy and discovering in the cheapo junk shops half a tonne of fake leaves of different types for 2.99 a bunch. Will need more, but this will be a start for the Tink costume... Cut out the leggings for Ghost. (just need to stitch together, which is the part I'm dreading on all the costumes, especially the Eowyn one. However, Andy assures me that this is the easy bit)

Also : watching bits of Reign of Fire, most of Sharpe's Battle and a couple of episodes of Blackadder II. Which we spent laughing our socks off.

Need to cap or at least find screencaps of the Saffron eps of Firefly. Am seriously thinking of doing her bad-ass outfit from Trash for Fusion.

Have idea for future costume entry. Alex has been seduced, Ming has been, now we just need Big Steve. Shall work on him at Eternal. We could use a fifth member, but he's not entirely essential and also the most complex and possibly expensive costume. As it stands, I'd be the only one who'd have to do any major league sewing. (Oh god. Am in costume mindset. Hellllp, I'm sinking....) And now, food!

Pah. I dangled the words 'piss-easy costume' and the name of the character in front of you and you had about as much resistance as I did to Ascendant.

Again, I prefer to think of it as demonstrating a clear capability for rapid decision making.

Are there costume themes for Eternal yet?
