argh. why am I so crap at applying for jobs? I keep hitting the job requirements section and get an attack of insecurity (all the qualifications that they never mention on the ad), even though I've been assured that you can learn this stuff in time/'experience' does not mean competent. And then there's the fact that 90% of the places I apply to are the 'fill-in the form, monkeygirl' type due to being name places (to cut out all the scarily formatted student cvs on black sparkly paper) which take me fucking forever to fill in and I keep getting distracted.

Playing with phone. getting occasionally frustrated, but it's all part of the learning process. :sigh:

Take heart. The filling in of forms is a loathsome process, it’s true, but it can get results. Mr Living Proof is right here. And if a woeful specimen like me can do it, I know for a damn fact you can.

Maybe some of the sting can be taken out of it by copying and pasting the next one you fill in and making a Word doc out of it, then you can cut and paste great chunks into the following ones. Then again, I’m sure you’ve already thought of that.

Also, is that the Lady Door in today's icon? I was re-reading Neverwhere just last night! Spooky…

sadly, the cutting and pasting doesn't work, since so many of them are formatted completely differently - pretty much the only thing that you can cut and paste are references and your address.
