Went and saw the 1920s Mikado at the ENO. Squee! It is happy, and pretty, and all monochrome, and silly, and the Lord High Executioner is such a bootlicker and Poo-Bah is fantastically toff-like (lines and pointed looks at the dress circle about the middle class, and the Gods when the working class) and the dancers - five maids and five bellhops - are hysterical. No lines, just funny as hell. Especially when the maids squeaked.

Heather is happy and humming the Lord High Executioner, and also needs to go re-watch Topsy Turvy. Also, Thai Chicken pizza from the Gourmet Pizza company opposite Vine Street nick (it's off Piccadilly) is delish.

Also sulking as have found out that I've lost just enough weight that one of my favourite dressy/posh tops has stopped fitting. Christmas, I had to wear a padded bra. Now it no longer fits properly around the waist. sulk.

I do love that show! I've had the pleasure of playing Katisha and it was a blast!
