Watched Shaun of the Dead. Fucking hysterical. There are no words, really, except it's hysterical, very British and even elicits a tear or two. Not to mention the absolutely great 'morning after the crisis breaks' scene where Shaun goes to the shop and the epilogue. But not scary. Just bloody funny.

Bought wig, two of the paint types - Tors, please say you've got some of that yellow-brown left, and gold ribbon.

Bought comics. pretty comics. Teen Titans and Gotham Central, and She-Hulk on a whim. She-Hulk is rather funny.

also, [livejournal.com profile] daegaer? You die. Went looking for GMF on ebay, and am now in theoretical possession of In the King's Name. (btw, there's a set of three on there, possible first editions...:tempts:) Also prodded a book of Australian stories that were apparently in the tradition of GMF, but me and [livejournal.com profile] megolas decreed that they weren't manly enough.

Ahaha! The manliness gets us all in the end. (Until horrible innuendo becomes second nature, it seems). I'm very tempted by those three books. Hmmm. I'm sure my brother wouldn't mind having them delivered to his place and thence to me.
