...aside from it being comics day, in which there are moments of much fabulousness. Batman/Superman was cute but not all that, Superboy in Teen Titans - oh the squee, and so is Gar and Bart, JSA just tends to send me into geeker joy *anyway* (old skool heros and their younger taken on the mantle of their comrades! Do you not understand how incredibly cool they are?), 100 Bullets was in one of its transitional issues where you're going 'I'm really *trying* to figure this out, honest, but I suspect Azzarello's not going to tell me the story yet', Gotham Central was 'let's squee about police procedures', The Pulse was doing the same, but journalistic stuff, and Nightwing and Green Arrow were *so much* 'Pet the woobie! Hug it! See how cool/incredibly freaksome Dinah and Catalina are! (yes, one is cool and one is incredibly freaksome. Guess which.)'
Anyway. this is not the reason for my geeker joy. My reason for geeker joy is Clive Owen as Dwight in Sin City. here. See me going 'Perfect casting! Perfect fucking casting! And Benicio Del Toro and Rosario Dawson and Brittany Murphy are in that segment? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!' Hee. Two bets Brittany Murphy's going to be Becky or the girlfriend, because I sure as hell can't see her as Gail.
