Have sewed the whole of the bodysuit for Ghost. (well, apart from hemming the fucker and clipping seams) Except I have problems. It is in two parts, due to the fact that I am human, will need the loo, and the top of it will be stuck in place with bodytape, which wouldn't re-attach.

The best way to stop the leggings part sliding down, as far as I can tell, is to attach the leggings to the top. Except. How the hell does one do this so it'll detatch?

how tight is the top? at my daughter's ballet company, we do one of two things - either we use elastic suspenders (braces) on the leggings (over the shoulders) and cover it with the top, or put buttons on the top (usually on seams) and the leggings and connect them with button elastic. That way a dancer can lift her arms and move and the bodice and tutu don't seperate and expose her belly.

Well, it's a superhero outfit, so spandex-tight.

However, have happily since discovered that once I put the lacing in, all that was needed to keep the top from flashing everyone was clear bra straps, and the top splits enough that if you sew top and leggings as one, peeling off is no problem.

So no tit tape. Which is a good thing.

I take it that's solved the problem? 'Cos otherwise I was gonna suggest velcro.
