nano - just over 4k as of last night. (with, of course the writing only kicking in properly at 11pm...) It means I'm on target of 2k a day, and it's respectable, but it's not exactly comfort zone. here's hoping if I keep that up that it'll get me to the comfort zone. My notepad is mostly detailed notes rather than actual writing at this stage. Need more actual sentences I can then expand.

Poking the notes on the two of them taking notice of each other. Shall have to just write the damn thing and figure out whether that all takes place in the afternoon and evening or over two days. Let's just hope they're wordy about it, whatever happens.

(and anyone who's never been watching this journal while I'm nano-ing, this will be pretty much all you'll get over the next month.)

I laid down 2140 words tonight, which gives you something to beat. Normally I’m doing 1500 words a night, so you’re way ahead of my usual rate. Then again, I obsessively self-edit too.

Also, don’t know if you’re interested, but next Tuesday’s episode of Children in Need’s Around the World in 80 Days programme is John Barrowman’s segment. He may or may not keep his kit on throughout the show, but judging by the trailers I’m expecting the latter.
