The point where someone actually recognises what your username started as is most odd. I was resigned to living in a world where random lj commenters had no idea what the word 'kabuki' meant and would shorten my username to 'kab'. (admittedly I picked it when I was obsessing over David Mack's Kabuki, mostly because it was pretty - soon enough the repetition and shallowness really got to me) But someone actually used 'kabuki' to refer to me. Ignore me, I'm doing a goldfish impression.

And does anyone know where I can pick up The Wire? Yes, this is due to Aidan mentioning that that's what he's doing next, more of that series...

Hmm. Need to find someone with a working video player that wouldn't mind me hi-jacking it so I can watch my copy of Mojo. I haven't seen it in fucking years and barely remember most of it. :pause: I believe one of my friends was scenery in it. At least I think that's the film she was an extra in.

Does nobody else have VHS anymore?

Well I still proudly boast a working tape player (frequently used I hasten to add), and you're more than welcome to head over to the flat at some point and watch whatever - you still have to see the bar :D

I still have a VHS player.
I don't know why though as I download everything & I left all my vids behind when we moved house.
