Doctor Who
Jun. 19th, 2005 12:43 pmOh god. *THUD*. And SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
There was... ack. The whole admitting the delta wave would take out everything in its path, and the willingness to sacrifice just so the Daleks wouldn't win, and then deciding to save Rose and have no way out for himself - Jack being okay because he's a soldier, and *knowing* Jack would be okay with this. Everyone on level 100 screaming and then waiting in silence and then the Daleks and them wailing that they're just a legend.
Emperor Dalek. Blasphemy. Interesting that there's a prevailing assumption in sci-fi and the like that if you force bits of humanity together in one giant lump, or you inject it into something else, the end result will drive the other being insane...
Lynda. Oh, babe. Scare and determined and turning off the sound from Level 100 and then knowing she's going to die and turning to see te Daleks out the window... :hugs:
KISS. :flails like no tomorrow: Rose/Jack. JACK/DOCTOR. Rose/Doctor. (Russell, your Whedon influences are showing...) I, er, need to flail some more. Especially what with John Barrowman in Confidential talking about the need for him to snog the Doctor and make it a goodbye kiss of equal intensity. :flail:
Oh god. Hologram. Mickey's little instant of hope that Rose could stay and her determination to help, then her realisation and the sheer acting that Billie put in to her timestream!Rose, which had me gawping and crying (much, much better done than any Willow stuff), Bad Wolf realistation and omnipotent disintegrating of the Daleks and resurrecting of Jack and then the Doctor kissing her to save her... meeeeeep. And then him trying to reassure her about the change... :wails:
Hmm. David, :cocks head to one side: interesting....
They left Jack behind on the station! Augh! Come back for him next season, you bastards!
That speaking, the Confidential? One big ball of Squee and talking about the Doctor's motivations and immense love for Rose and... and... Chris Ecclestone's acting in the series is apparently all first reactions to the script, no research or thinking. Excuse me while I grovel at this man's feet for his acting talent.

Date: 2005-06-19 01:47 pm (UTC)Did she just resurrect Jack or everyone - a large proportion of humanity had been decimated by that point? We may find out in the next series. Or not.

Date: 2005-06-20 11:20 pm (UTC)Also? Hi. *pook* You may or may not remember me... I have undergone a cyber-name change (like painless, only with sweeties). 'Twas not too long ago I was Vic Hayrabedian. Now, didn't we watch something involving Blade at Soulstarsinger's house one time? *cocks head*
There, see? So not a weirdo.
