Global Frequency Pilot and Batman Begins
Jun. 21st, 2005 05:01 pmJust watched and fuuuuuuuck. Which way do you direct me to lobby for this show to get made, dammit? It's good. Really, *really* good. With added innovation and clock ticking stuff. Even has a good soundtrack. Possibly my only problem is with Aleph, who isn't snarky enough. Miranda Zero on the other hand... :bows down and worships:
Saw Batman Begins. Oh, pretty. Fight sequences? Pretty, and loving the blurred half-seen effect. Gary Oldman really and truly is Jim Gordon. It's fucking scary, is what it is. Nice look to Gotham and the Narrows, Katie Holmes is bleh, and Cillian Murphy is considerably focussed and creepy as Jonathan Crane. (also very pretty) Christian Bale is a fabulous Batman and a convincing Bruce Wayne, but I'm glad they're playing him as more mature than the comics one. Go away. Hugging Alfred and calling him my squishy, which I am also doing to Liam Neeson's Ducard.
I heartily recommend. Just try to close your eyes whenever Katie Holmes is onscreen. And then love the way that all the blokes on the show love the gadgets immensely.
