Back from Quor'toth, still knackered, and please don't kill me Kane fangirls, I have the acoustic Kane cd from when they played at the Angel convention at Hallowe'en. Vladimir Kulich (The Beast), Stacey Travis (Senator Bruckner) and Dennis Christopher (Cyrus Vail, killed Welsey) are all infinitely cool. Between them, Vladimir and Jenny Mullen invented the concept of ipod sex. Froggy, a boorish tosser, got himself banned after crossing the line one time too many. Jenny Mullen adores going wild on the dancefloor and can and will play air guitar whilst in classic pose of kneeling on floor and lying back on some very happy fans. You cannot shut Andy Hallett up, nor keep him on topic if his life depended on it. Vladimir? ridiculously tall, so much that when Dennis was asking if he'd been through reception and described him as ridiculously tall with blond hair, the concierge went 'he had breakfast half an hour ago.' He was also seen attempting the Doctor Who dance. There were actual orders being taken by those bopping off to London Film and Comic Con for signed photos of John Barrowman. Thistle Hotel are wankers, but the Park Inn? Niiiice rooms and very pretty. We shall see how they cope when their conference centre is built and they have hundreds of fans lolling around in strange costumes. The capacity for blokes to have a cheerleader fetish should not be underestimated. You can dance quite easily in rollerblades, though jumping and bending the knees is impossible.

His reputation for this kind of behavior at ever con, his reputation for needing to be known as every celeb's 'BFF OMG!', and his general tendencies to think being big, loud and obnoxious is the same as being witty and entertaining. Haven't had the distinct pleasure of meeting him one on one. If luck continues in my favor, that will never, ever change.

Well, partly that Andy and the staff were just looking for an excuse. 2:15am or so, Andy Hallett appeared on stage with Clare Kramer and started karaokeing. I left, wincing. (love the guy as I do, I just cannot take his singing and forgetting lines - dammit, I want disco, not Andy singing) Apparently I missed Froggy jumping onto the stage to get near Clare Kramer. This was the main thing that got him banned. Also there was apparently laying girls out on the bar and doing shots. As well as general comments, behaviour, tendency to fly off the handle, hassling all the girls, etc. Later, the boy was banned. Can't say I'm sorry, considering how much hassling we were getting.
