burntcopperWell, today it's like getting blood out of a stone, until I can actually force myself into writing - I'm ahead of schedule, and when I can actually force myself to write, like I did last night, a thousand words gets knocked out without even thinking, so it's not too bad.
Except... well, I've had these characters and some of the story in my head for years. The main basis was that the main relationship between the two characters was that they were probably unhealthily codependent, but used to spend their entire working relationship screaming at each other. Anything that involved work, you could depend on the yelling starting within about five minutes. Which was supposed to have happened more and more as they had to work more with each other as they inched their way up the scale of seniority. Except now that I'm writing it, it's not happening. It's more like grudging respect and so on. Hmm. Will see.
