New Year

Heh. Not bad, started drinking at about 7pm, night went very slowly in terms of time, people gradually joining us and being silly, with moments of quiet. Amy broke my heels on the way to the plague pits to watch the very lovely fireworks, so came back with v. muddy feet. Drinking,m Glynn threw up early on, Meg has been continuously throwing up and lying comatose under sleeping bag on futon since about 2am. Tidied up in the morning, (still such things as sweeping and mopping up to do) discovered aniseed cancels out vomit smells (another use for sambuca!) and browbeat one bloke's new boyfriend into accepting a scholarship in London. Celia stole sam's harmonica and wouldn't give it back until he left.

Other things. Gingerbread houses and pizza and olives were consumed. Leonard and Bob kept yelling 'Lies, Lies!' and forcing people to gag them. Nine wanting people to play 'I never' but no-one really caring...
