After yet another round of people thinking my name means I'm Scottish (actually, if you did an internet search, it's more likely that I'm Canadian), have decided need t-shirt :

Not fucking well Scots, so stop asking.*

*Though I still know more history than Mel Gibson.

Utterly uninteresting little fact - my first full time position was with a Canadian company (although it was more a well established British subsidiary) which was founded (as I recall) by a Scottish expat.

Even less interesting facts - I was made redundant in 1995, however the winding up order for the Canadian parent is dated 15th August 1994. Didn't realise that they were actually in that much trouble, that early - it isn't quite the impression we got when we were sold off. This process is still ongoing!! I've also just seen it claimed as the largest insolvency in North American history.

I feel quite proud now.
