Looking through the latest Chronicle (see http://www.dwcon.org - if you're nice, I may give you the password) and looked at the stuff about guilds. Lots of mention of the Seamstresses and favours being ribbons and lace. Bollocks they were. We had black rubber too, for special customers. The needle and thread specialists' division got nearly as many as those who use a thimble. (see
guyelfkin) And I distinctly remember having to put my amateur masseur skills to use on Peter Morwood to earn one bunch of points. My guild head was looking on and grading me, too.
Several mentions of Flossie. We appear to have made an impression.
On the other hand, looked at the advert for Glamourous Assistants from the Conjurers, and it occured to me that my Absinthe Fairy outfit from Moulin Rouge comes under this exact heading. Only with even more sequins. :g:
Suspect will spend most of the con running around in the Conina oufit - which needs to be improved on, anyway - though really, the Sally Bowles one is seriously tempting if we're teaming up with the Musicians at any point. Note to self : need to find a pair of black shorts longer than hotpants to do that outfit again.
