I'm not sure if it's screwed up because I haven't taken the pill this month or because I was sick - I originally went on the pill to get my periods to behave - the not taking the pill was due to the first week of that cycle spent being ill and thus forgetting, so I decided to let it tide over. (taking a week's worth of hormones would not be a good idea)

Pregnancy should be a virtual impossibility considering the point of cycle I last had sex. Plus, y'know, condoms.

but still, argh. I'm probably just being paranoid due to my mate being preggers. I know I want kids but, er, not now, please.

99% chance it's due to the blip in pill-taking. Your body's been used to being told when to menstruate by the pill, so when it's not told to it gets confused. You'll probably end up having two periods next month or something equally horrible but it's damn unlikely to be pregnancy.
