Spent most of day feeling queasy. Not fun. And when I was finally well, there was no spinach or bagels left at Waitrose. (where I once again exhibited my skill at being world's worst parker. Seriously. When I was taking lessons, I could do any sort of parking to perfection. Now - as [livejournal.com profile] wiccachik will attest, observing me attempt to parallel park is up there with Father Ted and Blackadder for belly laughs.)

Spent yesterday with [livejournal.com profile] jamjar, first in the Tate where we spent a large amount of time snickering innappropriately at Gothic Nightmares, then went to Wagamama's at Royal Festival Hall. That whole area of the South Bank has now metamorphasised into a bustling place of cafes and life. Most odd.

Aim to watch a bunch of tv tonight so I can dl latest eps of BSG and SG-1. Which I'm at least two weeks behind on *anyway*, but not as far behind as I am on Lost.

Booked ticket for Wicked for the 28th. Circle Row L, around the middle, but I'm not currently prepared to pay nearly 40 quid (once booking fees added) for a better seat.

And someone on my flist many moons ago posted a recipe for Chicken Zorba. Have since lost it. Help? ETA : found now.

Chicken Zorba

Ingredients
Juice of 2 limes
1 level teaspoon ground coriander
1 level teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 level teaspoon turmeric
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon freshly chopped mint
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions
Mix up everything and leave the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Once it's done, fry the chicken. (I tend to use the marinade itself, rather than oil.)

Hah... just got in and saw your post (and message)... I've got exactly the same row, a little bit further along, but on the 27th (half hour earlier start, and therefore, half hour earlier finish)

Cool! I'll see you there. Possibly only in the strictest technical sense, as it's still six months away, so I'll probably forget about these posts by then. And of course I have no idea what you look like.

But other than that, I will definitely see you there!! ;-)

Hah. You should have seen me imemdiately after my Malaysian test. To make it easier to judge, lots for the parking tests have poles so the examiners can tell if you've gone out of bounds - the poles move. However, all instructers teach their pupils to park by observing the poles. Great for pass the test. Not so good for actually parking for real, not unless you pack poles, just in case...
