Need to catch up on tv. Jackie and Sean are pretty close to moving in, I need to get my arse together for that, ebay a bunch of stuff, and so on.
Poked the 'people who have friended me' list, trying to figure out what precisely was interesting about my posts, since most of the 'er, huh?' list are people I don't even have a passing familiarity with. I mean, I ramble, I'm not incisively witty, I don't rant, I post stuff about theatre trips I've been on, whine about fic bunnies not co-operating, rarely post fic, don't make icons, and occasionally go on about fannish stuff.
Trying to remember who was it who pointed out that theAsimov Clarke quote about 'sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic' is actually completely fucking applicable to now. We're living in it. Plenty of people can use the interface but have no idea how it works, or where it even begins. The world of the user.
My Wicked ticket arrived! Mwhahahahaha!
miniosiris, apparently the Australian cast of BatB featuring Hugh Jackman as Gaston is available through Amazon.co.uk for 12.99.

Also, one of the things that does worry me is the Converse Clarke which says that Any Sufficiently Advanced Magic is Indistinguishable from Technology.
